A little bit about the author…

Hi, I’m E.L. Li!

I’m an author, a software engineer, a gamer, and an overthinker.

I’m a dreamer who writes stories that have existed in my head since I was a child. I hope you will enjoy these stories as well :)

 

My Debut Novel

The ideas for Realm of Hope have existed in my head ever since I was 11 years old.

I originally wrote the story in the form of a comic book series after getting inspired by Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy.

By high school, I wrote it as a screenplay for a video game. I wrote several other screenplays for games that took place in the same universe of Realm of Hope, but in different time periods.

By college, I decided to rewrite my original stories as books.

Realm of Hope takes place the latest in the timeline and introduces the universe that has existed in my mind for more than half my life. If you like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Percy Jackson & the Olympians, Mistborn, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, DND, or anime… Realm of Hope is the book for you.
